ABOUT US
The Farmers Arms in Leigh, is a family friendly pub that is the social hub of the community. We welcome families to come and enjoy our play area located in a safe environment outside the pub. We also have two beer gardens, one located near to the children’s area and one that is the opposite side of the pub. During the summer months we have our own outside bar which is fully equipped as our main bar.
We serve a range of beers, lager’s and ciders as well as having a extensive spirit list including new and popular gins! Our new menu is full of homemade treats that are locally sourced. We use meats from the local butchers, T G Sargeants and Sons or homebred meat from the family farm at Nobut Hall. We strive to ensure all meals are served with fresh ingredients and to order.
Dogs are welcomed into the pub but we asked that they stay in the games room or the none carpet area of the bar.
We regularly hold events from quiz nights to karaoke and tractor runs! Keep an eye on our Facebook Page to find out more.

Me and my family looked at the menu and photos and thought it looked nice when we got there it looked absolutely Grimm like the paint was pealing off the walls and my dad said we’ll see what it’s like inside when we opened the door all 4 of us immediately turned around due to the horrible smell I cannot tell you not to go here enough please don’t go like no wonder it’s called the farmers arms how much it smells like sweat🤢🤢
Great food. Good service. Friendly staff.....
We had a lovely time here over Easter weekend ,lots of drinks on sat and lovely Easter roast drinks and games if pool and darts on Sunday ,really friendly staff great atmosphere,we were made to feel very welcome ,and the food was delicious
Went with friends to enjoy a Sunday dinner, but after ordering a Sunday roast and waiting 35 minutes, was very disappointed to find that it arrived on the smallest side plate ! One small slice of beef with 80% being fat!! Cold hard (probably reheated) small roast potatoes. Hard, part cooked broccoli and cauliflower. No salt or pepper on the table, had to Nick the salt and pepper off the other table. Was shocked to get the bill of £95 and finding out that the “roast dinner” was £11.95!! On the menu it says 50% off main meals on a Sunday. When I asked the manager she said the roast wasn’t on the main meals!? Could not find anywhere of the price. Not very happy to pay a ridiculous price for a very poor meal!!!! Do not go to this pub for food!!!!! Rip off!!!

Nothing beats a refreshing pint, at the end of a long day. You’ll be hard pushed to find a better selection of cask ales, anywhere else. We have an exciting range of gins too, if that’s what you’re into.
