Good accommodation, very close to Stansted airport. Evening meal was to a very high standard and the Parsley root risotto was excellent using an ingredient rarely seen. Staff all very professional and special shout out to Andy.
Stayed here for two nights with family and friends for our daughter’s wedding, which they hosted. Rooms were spotless and absolutely excellent service and food. Andy, Manager, and Lydia, along with their great staff worked so hard and went above and beyond to make the reception thoroughly enjoyable. The Buffett meal was excellent. Many thanks to you all. *****
We booked a table for ten for Sunday Lunch on the bank holiday. Great service, plates came out on time but we weren’t rushed, and generous portions for the mains. Really high quality roasts, the chicken and the vegetarian nut roast were great. Been here three times now and will keep coming back
We stopped over for one night whilst travelling back from holiday. Lovely setting overlooking the village cricket green. The weather was beautiful and perfect for sitting outside to eat our evening meal. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Timothy Taylor beer. The food was delicious as was the breakfast in the morning. Lots of parking and plenty of space indoors for dining aswell. Some of the doors are low so watch your head if you’re tall!!!
After a long flight from New Zealand we arrived slightly weary but pleased to be at our accommodation for the next 3 nights. We were met by a lovely young chap, who made us very welcome just what we needed and this continued throughout our stay. All the staff are lovely and friendly, the food is outstanding. Our room comfortable and we had everything we needed. Thank you Team for your excellent friendly service you made as feel welcome, we feel rested and ready for the rest of our full on holiday.
