The Anchor has undergone a large refurbishment about a two years ago and the outcome is truly fantastic. We have created a family pub that you will be proud to call your local. Pool and Darts is available next to the Bar Area showing BTR sports

The Anchor is a pub at the heart of the community. We provide a place for people to have a quiet drink, to enjoy traditional delicious home cooked pub food and to share great times with family and friends or with friends that you have not met yet.

we are now having monthly live bands and dj/kareoke nights monthly quiz night on the last thursday of every month.

The Anchor has a fantastic beer garden. Perfect to relax and enjoy the sun while drinking a chilled beer or wine. This is the only Pub in Great Wakering with a Playground and bouncy castle to keep the little ones entertained.

The Site is also Wheelchair accessable and has a good size Car Park at the back.
