First of all the service was great. Food was ok, felt my seafood linguine could've had more seafood in it. My cheesecake had to be returned as it was still frozen, it was replaced by a thawed piece.
A little pub hotel on the main street of a historic conservation village on a beautiful coastline near North Berwick. Very well run with attentive staff, the village local with real fires, immaculately clean, good pub restaurant food. It's an old pub/hotel and the rooms are defined by the building. Ours was a family room, large but not luxurious, freshly decorated, well equipped and very clean. Parking outside on the road I'd recommend it for a few days break. It's a great area for wildlife, coastline and nice little towns. Good transport links.

We bought a voucher on Itison for a lunch. Went on Tues and it was really lovely. The food was really good, great choice and nicely served. Sticky toffee pudding was to die for! The service was also really nice. The girl who booked us in and served us was so friendly, professional and chatty! We definitely be going back when we can!
We were here for lunch while in the area. We sat outside in the lovely hidden garden on a sunny day. Large parasols provided shade if required. Staff were very friendly and made sure even our two dogs were happy offering water and treats. Food was excellent with some of the best chips I've ever had. If I'm ever back in the area I'd definitely come back here.
