A good, honest and tasty breakfast to be enjoyed by all for a fair price of £9.95 😋
Great: comfortable, clean, friendly staff, good food, diverse pub mix pub.
Nice pub with less tourists and more locals. Loads of maritime memorabilia on the walls. Friendly staff and people who offer a warm welcome.
Proper local pub. Good pub food. Great real ale selection. Competitive prices. Helpful, hardworking staff. Handy for the yachtie scene without the prices. With a refurbishment it would get five stars.
I visited a few weeks back, the pub itself is nicely decorated, good range of beers. The service was good and friendly. Unfortunately I had my 1st and only meal of the day, the luxury fish pie at midday. Around 4 hrs later I started to feel very ill and proceeded to vomit violently for the next 12-14hrs. I nearly missed an important exam the following morning. Fortunately the examiner understood the severity of the situation and let me sit my exam a few hours after everyone else had finished. I would highly recommend this dish is removed from the menu. I would also be asking the chef some serious questions on how long food is kept before it is thrown away. I really hope nobody else went through what I did as is was horrendous.
