Great little local pub Fun darts pool friendly
What isn't there to love. The drake has the most welcoming atmosphere with staff who go above and beyond for you. The parites held here are second to none, and the amount if fundraising they do is amazing. Theirs always something going on and i for one love to spend time here. The landlords are the most wholesome, generous, down to earth people you'll meet. Drake isn't just a pub a place for community to come together.
The Drake is a 1960s flat roofed Estate pub. A community pub with friendly staff, It has a nice large bar with dart board and a good pool table. It has a separate function room with live entertainment at the weekends. There's a nice newly decked outside drinking area. The usual beers and largers dispensed through the t-bar system sadly no hand pumps or real ale, but the HU7 post code is a real ale desert. Most of the landlords I have spoken to say there's no demand for it but they would sell it if there was. Its a nice pub with a large car park.
Happy place, everyone friendly, great service. Lively but in a good way. Lots of choice, friendly ppl. Still a friendly place with happy ppl, always a warm welcome.
Not a bad pup plenty of parking nowhere kids can play but if you do fancy a quick pint better hurry as it will be gone soon so I've as Roebank is been refurbished soon.
