Really old pub inside from it's original build as a house which is lovely with some modern additions on the outskirts of Bournemouth. Great afternoon watching Murphys Lore at the end of January Folk Festival Weekend.
Lovely little Old pub and staff are wonderful and friendly. I've not had food here but they have some awesome Chorizo crisps 🫶
Went there hoping to have a meal, big mistake, walked in and then back out again! No sign of food anywhere or anywhere to sit inside. Outside quite a few tables and a singer for entertainment!
Probable the last real pub in Bournemouth, the Cricketers has a fascinating history and has recently been beautifully renovated to create a comfortable, traditional, welcoming local. Often holds food or beer festivals. Worth a visit to see and feel local atmosphere and history.
Had a turkey dinner that took an age to come and was luke warm on arrival Not much in the choice of vegetables either. Very disappointed with the amount of stuffing it was tiny! It's in the Yorkshire pudding in the posted photo. However they apologised and gave me a discount
