Had an over night stay here and can't praise the experience enough. Room very clean and bed very comfortable. The food was amazing, 5 stars to the chef. Staff were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful place to stay, highly recommended. Thank you to the staff.
Popped in for a family meet up. Staff were speedy and just great. Lots of variety with the food. Drinks were good value too. Will be back👍
We had a great meal food was excellent, we were sat upstairs, lovely new room, staff were good but very understaffed, we waited ages, the poor girls had to serve upstairs as well as downstairs and do the Bars, I realise it was Christmas time but they need more staff at busy times.
Stayed overnight Fri - Sat. Lovely hotel, great hosts and staff. Everyone is happy and friendly and a can do attitude. We will likely return in the New Year after the 2nd restaurant area opens (in Dec 23). The breakfast is not just good value, it's an absolute gift. Thank you The Dilwyn :-)
Decided to go for food here yesterday with my husband and children for 4:35. We sat at our table and as we were about to order one of their staff members approached us. Told us someone had reserved the tables we were on and next to us, mind you there wasn't a single reservation sign down as you would normally see so we apologised quickly, he offered to move us to a different table which we were happy to do then suddenly told us there wasn't any room as apparently every single table was booked. Mind you there's loads of tables and the pub was dead. Told us we're supposed to book in next time yet we've been before and never been told to book. I've been going for years for some pub grub and was ushered out yesterday feeling embarrassed with two hungry kids. Won't be going back again, not sure if it's because he didn't like the look of me and my partner as were covered in tattoos and piercings but I thought it was downright rude. Never been told to leave somewhere in my whole life, there was more than enough free tables
