Came for bottomless brunch and the Abba tribute. Firstly our booked table had people on it, who were eventually moved. The floor was sticky everywhere and the toilets were awful and left with nothing to dry your hands on. The poor selection of cocktails were not what was was advertised on the website and every drink came in a different glass, so volumes differed every time !!!. Food was dry and stale seems it had been wrapped up for hours. Only good thing was the tribute but definitely much better places for bottomless brunch
I can't believe how downhill Detroit has gone in the space of year. It used to be a place where there was a strict rule on the sort of music played as the bars USP was soul and motown which obviously drew an older crows. Now it just seems to play "modern" music like everywhere else in Preston to cater for a crowd that now just appears to be teenagers. It's so disappointing to see a place with so much potential sell out.
I had such an amazing time here. All the staff were nice and welcoming, especially Heilija and Grace who made my night 100% more enjoyable. I will definitely come back again.
totally disappointed. . . . the act was perfect, great guy as Elton tonight but by god! on arrival no tonic- to go with the gin, the platter was not amounting to enough for 6 persons per booth- poor effort of a sharing platter! I ran a bar and stock replenishment, rotation etc was paramount. . . this venue offers unlimited selection of drinks for the duration and to be told there is no tonic to go with the gin on these selective list is beyond understandable or acceptable when only just opened the place for the show. . . then within less than an hour, to run out of prosecco less than an hour into the show is even worse. . . . manager should be held accountable for the fact his bar isn't fully stocked or able to provide what they are selling. . . . its key to running a bar to start your night off fully stocked of what you're offering in your deal. . . . we had guests amounting to 800.00 and this tonight was definitely not value for money. waiting for table service to add to the complaint. I'm hoping , if i visit again, this venue is better prepared for what they are supposedly offering as the deal for tribute show. . . . 1st experience and with my own bar experience there's definitely room for improvement. including the manager's attitude when dealing with issues. It was a great night with the compere and the party we were with but as for what detroit offer? ? sorry not impressed .
It was super fun being there , their staff are very kind and they had a great live show , I just don't get use to drunk people throwing up at the place , I don't know how they tolerate that cause when I was there happened twice and tbh even if they clean up the smell was still there , that's a bit of an issue
