I love this pub. I'm new to Asbourne and didn't know anybody, I went to the White Swan and was soon warmly accepted by the people there. The bar has a great traditional and contemporary feel and the staff was very friendly. Free music, good ale and good atmosphere.
I did a gig there and it's an absolutely fantastic venue! The locals there are so friendly and welcoming! Beautiful venue all round!
Small but lovey presented pub! Lovely front garden and a big menu. Had lasagne (home made) and hubby had Fish and chips. Delicious and great value for money. There was a singer on at night but sadly we couldn't stay that long
Went here as had lovely outside tables area on a super hot day. Had few drinks, however when we enquired on food was told 45 minute wait (only few tables were full) and to try George & Dragon over the way as they were serving food. Very bad attitude from bar staff, we were totally dismissed even though we had spent 1.5 hours there consuming alcohol. Went to George & Dragon and had lovely food. Highly recommend
