Very chilled out place locals are welcoming
It's been years since I have had a pint of tetley bitter in or around Huddersfield, I have now become a regular as I find the place so welcoming, I'm hoping to become a member in the new year
Thanks to Julie and the team, another great event last night with the fireworks display. Even though the weather was horrendous, it was yet another free event for locals, well attended, and well run. Thank you!
Went to a children's Halloween party a few days ago. Our first welcome into the club was a group of teens/men smoking dope on the doorstep, which was pretty intimidating to walk through. Sadly, the parents weren't looking after their children well, and our drinks were knocked over and spilt onto our phones, etc, several times from children climbing on top of our table. There was also a game of football going on, which nearly broke some lights. It's definitely not the well organised disco I was expecting. The decorations were pretty good, though. I'm not sure I'd feel safe visiting again.
It is quiet and you can enjoy a quiet beer. Bar staff lovely and friendly. They have dominoes and pool tournaments. Overall happy with the service
