The Crow’s Nest in Seaham is a lovely seafront pub located on the spectacular Durham Heritage Coast.
We do excellent real ales, great pub food, and good times! Come in with friends or family any day of the week. Food is served daily, from a menu that has everything from pies and burgers to curries and steaks. When the sun’s out, hit the deck. Step onto the patio, find a table or grab one of our covered booths and breathe in the sea air. There’s a lot going on inside the pub as well. Quiz nights are always lively, and everyone in the community comes in for charity events, theme parties, and fun days.
A few weeks ago, I dined alone at The Crow's Nest and had a truly enjoyable experience. As it was a Sunday, the atmosphere felt a bit intimidating initially, perhaps due to the bustling environment or the unfamiliarity of dining solo on a busy day. However, any unease I felt was quickly alleviated by the attentive and caring staff. They frequently checked in on me, ensuring my comfort and even offering the convenience of bringing drinks directly to my table. This thoughtful service made a significant difference in my dining experience. As for the food, it was delightful. The dishes were well-prepared, flavourful, and to my pleasant surprise, quite affordable. The Crow's Nest strikes a great balance between quality and value, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking for good food at reasonable prices. Overall, my visit to The Crow's Nest was a positive one, marked by caring service and enjoyable cuisine. I'd certainly recommend it to others, even if you're dining alone and appreciate a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
first time being in here for some lunch, it didn’t disappoint. the menu has a good variety of choice! I ended up with the Cowboy Burger which was one of the best burgers I have tried in a long time. My partner had the Ultimate Chicken burger which came with the fries and a gravy boat, which in his words, like eating a KFC zinger - out of this world. Atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. Bar service were inviting and very hospitable. I can’t fault any of the staff and the service, really enjoyed the time spent in here and will be coming back again to try the kebab flatbread from the menu!! :)
Nicola was absolutely amazing, food was beautiful, and service was really fast, thanks so much we will definitely be back 💜
Had the steak deal with the house wine. Absolutely beautiful, also 20% off NHS blue light card which not many places do. 11 pound for steak & Wine, can’t go wrong… Lovely! Highly recommend
Visited on Saturday night for something to eat last minute. Dined outside as inside was very busy. Ordered the chicken burger, and the ultimate chicken burger. Both meals came with fries. Toilets were clean. Plenty of parking spaces. Prices relatively reasonable. Food was OK but wasn't exceptional. Would probably visit again but on a quieter day / night.
