Very impressed with The Crown. Came for an unexpected visit after The Little Manor pub in Thelwall was full. The Crown has a very pleasant modern layout inside which you wouldn't expect seeing it from the outside. The food menu was a little bit limited on choice, but that was fine as the food we had was lovely. The staff are all very pleasant and very welcoming even though we had never been here before. And most important and a huge bonus to The Crown they welcome dogs. This will definitely be on my list of regular places to visit.
First time visiting and it will probably be the last. It's desperately in need of a refurb and the male toilets were disgusting and smelt awful. The food was reheated and bland and it's only saving grace were the staff who were very attentive.
We went to this pub on New Year day and it was very quiet. However, the food was good and the staff were very friendly and the service was fantastic.
We went here just before Christmas for some food and drinks and it was really nice. I would recommend the burgers, really tasty! Atmosphere was lovely and cosy, which matched the festive holiday. Overall, it was a lovely pub. Would recommend and would go back!
Excellent pub with good menu and range of drinks Quiznight on Thursdays. Nice to see dogs are not only welcomed but they are provided with free biscuits and water at their own Dog Bar. Space for motorhomes to overnight in the carpark,although best to phone first to be sure of space. Landlord and staff are extremely welcoming ,yet provide a good professional service.
