Always busy and especially packed in the summer due to the large beer garden. They have to most real ale selection is Beeston to the best of my knowledge. All the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. They do different things all the time like quizzes and stuff and have some decent prizes. There's loads of little rooms away from the main bar area and the whole place has a traditional real to it. Place I a must visit if your in the area.
Always enjoy my visits here for the last 40 years. Sadly, Mrs Red is not that keen 😢
Didn't have anything to eat but wow! The choice of beers, ciders etc!!! Staggering. Loved it and can't wait to return. Great staff, had some banter... Want to know what the beer called "aaaggghhh is like 🍺😂👍
Visited Saturday 18th March 2023 late afternoon. Had to try here as their sister pub The Five Lamps in Derby is one of our favourites, this is no exception, Brown Ales Pub Co have done an outstanding job. Inside it's a traditional, warm and cosy pub, it also has a really nice outside are with lots of seating, most of which is undercover. Beer choice is excellent with some traditional style cask alongside modern cask and a great craft beer on keg selection. Staff were friendly and talkative, the pub had a really good atmosphere. Definitely worth the trip to Beeston, we'll be back.
