Popped in for Sunday Carvery, excellent service and food. Gets busy so worth booking, always a good sign
Very nice place for a meal and drink. Very cosy and friendly staff. Menu has lots of choice and food is very good. Place is also dog friendly which is good.
I came into have a drink and a bite to eat. The food was absolutely gorgeous. I had chicken stuffed with haggis and wrapped in crispy bacon with creamy mash and vegetables. It was flippin lovely.. I could have eaten it again. The staff were friendly and attentive. It's also dog friendly and my dog got a big bowl of water and a comfy seat. Highly recommended
I'm giving it a 5* because the staff were so lovely and the food was very good. The bedroom was strange, with a storage cupboard and combi boiler in it. The bathroom was grubby but the shower worked well. The bedrooms and the upper part definitely need attention. The bed was comfortable and Tea making facilities are a bonus.
Went in on Sunday evening about 5:30-5:45, for a meal (didn't book), we were told we wouldn't be seated till 7:30-7:45, unfortunately that was a bit to long to wait. As we were leaving we asked a member of staff if he could recommend somewhere else we could go to, he asked us to wait & he would find us a table, as he wouldn't turn anyone away & proceeded to find a us a table. 100% Customer Service from this guy, who's name is JACK. Well done young man. Also great table service staff were pleasant, friendly & helpful. Food was beautifully presented & excellent. Will definitely be back, ( remembering to book first), highly recommend a visit if your passing through Newton Stewart.
