Nice Sunday lunch today. Good size portions, really good beef pie but coli and broccoli was hard and undercooked although cabbage and carrots were perfectly cooked. Plenty of really good quality ham with the ham egg and chips. Service was faultless, despite a packed restaurant. Shame about the wind today causing blowy chilliness in the conservatory but we were treated to some beautiful harmonised singing by a male voice choir who happened to be eating there today. Overall a nice experience and will go back.
Hi Iām a drone pilot šØāāļø and I just wanted to share my Birds š¦ Eye šļø view with all of you. Please follow me and to see a different view of places you may know and love. Great fireworks display, great place, with great service, if your after food, beer, or a event this is a place to consider
Excellent service by pleasant staff. Lovely piping hot food that was delicious. The sirloin was particularly good. Nice atmosphere with plenty of room. Large carpark with good sized spaces.
Really good experience. An old country pub in a small village which has been extended with a large all year heated and cooled marquee. Excellent traditional menu with a lunchtime variant at great value prices. Staff are very welcoming and efficient, but when the place is full, can be overwhelmed. Good for functions as there is plenty of space in the marquee, the original pub is small but more intimate for couples dining. Give it a try, we love it.
Lovely place serving home cooked food at reasonable prices. We often come for a special occasion. Staff are friendly and we always have a good time. Toilets are clean, parking is ample. There is also a nice outside seating area with a climbing frame for children. Would definitely recommend. The home made cherry pie is well renowned in the area and delicious.
