I entered the pub as a stranger and is an obviously an old fashioned pub with the locals going( who is this.)The staff were friendly and first class,served you even if a regular was waiting.I was thanked for coming in from staff and regulars. Though no food, the rolls were just an option but I have never had better. Ps The great dane is sweet.
This was my local on a Sunday lunchtime back in the mid-70s. Great pub then. Must visit again!

Bex and her partner have made a wonderfully welcoming place here - very friendly and always plenty of cheerful locals to welcome you in. The 'baby' Great Dane is also a lovely girl and at 8 months of age is already at my hip-height on my 6'1" frame 😁 Prices are excellent. Huge, gorgeous garden with fruit trees perfect in the summer months. Plenty of comfortable seating both inside and out. The atmosphere always seems relaxed and easy going. Very much recommended - watch this space as they introduce new entertainment and facilities
