Food is terrible here! The chicken wings we ordered we couldn’t even touch because they smelled like they were off! Had huge hairs still attached to them and bulging veins! Goodness knows what was wrong with them but my god absolutely vile! Nobody at our table enjoyed the food said it was poor! Nice inside the pub but do not eat here! The chicken also had blood coming out of it! Never everrrrr again! Avoid avoid avoid!
Terrible experience. Terrible food. Overpriced food and drink. My order for a steak baguette with no mushrooms came with mushrooms and mushroom juice saturated in the roll. Totally inedible. I had to wrap it in paper and dispose of it once I left the premises. I don’t like confrontation so couldn’t complain. My wife had a fish finger sandwich which again her bread was totally saturated with grease from the fingers. These two light meals and a pint and a glass of wine cost £42.50. How how does it. Crazy. Definitely a tourist trap. Never again
Burford is the best little town to grab some late grub. The colder months almost guarantee you’ll have a warm fire roaring at almost every pub. Food is on point at Cotswold arms and the pints are as good as anywhere.
Great countryside restaurant. The place has a simple and cozy atmosphere, and the food is tasty. The family runs the business and they're really nice.
My partner and I were very surprised with the portions and variety of food options for vegetarian and vegans. The jackfruit nachos were delicious! I had the fish burger which was a very big piece of fish and my partner’s steak sandwich was juicy and filling. Staff were lovely and friendly and toilets were clean. Definitely worth the visit if you’re in the area. They have live music on Fridays.dog friendly
