First time visit. Very friendly waitress and we loved the fact our two dogs were very welcome. They even had their own menu! We felt however the food (for us!) was quite expensive. I fancied a steak but at £28 for a rump steak, I thought that was too much. My wife and I had a chicken burger which was decent and better value. Pint of Tribute was good.
The best Sunday lunch in town, well worth a visit.. very friendly staff. My Dog loved his dinner aswel. Thanks for making us feel very welcomed.. Will definitely see you next year
Service was excellent. Food was great though expensive. Approx £16 per meal. Drinks are very expensive a glass of Prosecco £9.50 Atmosphere is very poor and uninvited due to a roast dinner cannot be eaten in a garden. The pub still have Xmas decorations in May.
A warm welcome and excellent service for our Sunday Christmas Lunch for 4. Great choice of starters enjoyed by us all , turkey all round with a good choice of veg, wonderful merengue , whisky tart and Christmas pudding. A very enjoyable lunch - highly recommended.
Very busy and popular pub for Sunday lunch. I was unlucky with my Sunday roast, which was cold and had to be sent back. We were in a group of 6, so those who had the beef were of the same opinion very chewy and not the best but not the worse either. The other meats on offer were all very good . We enjoyed the drinks menu and went through them all some twice. Service staff are very pleasant and welcoming.
