The Cornish Arms in Frogpool is friendly local pub on a quiet lane with great food and a good range of Real Ales. In winter the pub is very cozy with wood burning stove. The pub is easy to get to from either Truro or Falmouth.
The Cornish Arms is a traditional family run pub situated in the beautiful Cornish village of Frogpool. You can find us just off the A39 between Truro and Falmouth, close to Redruth.
The pub has always been known as the Cornish Arms and has a long and interesting history. Naturally, the Cornish Arms and Frogpool village have seen many changes over the years, but it has always had the reputation for being a pleasant place to be.
The Cornish Arms is now run by sister and brother Jane and Tim, who between them have a wealth of hotel and catering experience. Tim is a professional chef and together Jane and Tim have introduced a menu offering quality food at affordable prices.
An extensive menu is offered for both lunchtimes and evenings, with seasonal specialities and a traditional Sunday lunch. We can also cater for parties and special occasions. The pub is open every day except Monday lunchtimes and as a free house the Cornish Arms is able to offer good ales, beers and a selection of great wines.
Regular activities include euchre, bingo, pool and quizzes with occasional and seasonal events such as Harvest Festival, Duck Race and the Christmas Grand Draw.
