The Copt Hill Inn is now owned by Tavistock Hospitality, and has been renovated from the ground up. Major work has been spent into breathing life back into this landmark pub.

Warm welcome. Good service. I missed having the option of a chicken dish on the menu but, food was hot and really good. What an upgrade to the place. Very nice. Well worth a visit. Another visit to Copt Hill. Friendly, warming, great food for Mams 90th get together. Definitely will return.
Great place, been totally refurbished since I was there last. Good selection of food served by friendly staff.
Our first time visiting since the refurb and we weren't disappointed. Prompt and friendly service, gorgeous Sunday lunch and not overly priced. A very professional manager who was overheard asking staff how they were- fantastic! Very tasteful decor and looking forward to enjoying the outside area in the summer. Will certainly be back.
A quaint, well presented and carefully curated offering with attentive, friendly service and great views of the north eastern countryside. I’m not from this neck of the woods, but I’m super glad we stumbled across the copt hill whilst visiting family. The venue was warm, thoughtfully laid out and nicely decorated, it was clean and immediately comfortable. (The loos were also in good order.) Service was prompt, relaxed and familiar, fast and efficient. The team on shift, worked collectively to make sure that we were well attended to and we were never left either waiting or wanting. The food was fast, arrived fresh and was maintained to a high level of quality throughout a selection of dishes, there is a good amount of choice without it being overwhelming, and portion sizes are decent. The dessert options were good too. Special mention for the lemon posett, but wouldn’t mind seeing the same level of care and attention applied to the rest of the dessert menu. I would say the meal was fairly priced, and comparatively cheap to London for a similar type of meal and venue. All in all a recommended spot.
Tried The Copt Hill on a whim tonight and I’m SO pleased we stumbled across it. The food was absolutely divine, the service was brilliant and the decor was beautiful. We will absolutely be visiting again and can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. I’ll dream about the creamy cabbage I had tonight 😄
