Great food, my husband ordered chips but they gave him fries, no big deal to us. They then came out with a bowl of chips and apologised for the error. They really didn't need to do that, but it was very much appreciated and showed us that they do care about the service they give their customers.
We were a large group of 18 and the staff were fantastic with each of us. The food was prepared and distributed perfectly; everyone commented on how how delicious the food was and the price was great too! The atmosphere was festive, relaxed and fun. We want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who helped make our annual Christmas meal one of the best we've had!
We went to coopers last night for a family meal and let’s just say we won’t be ever returning. The food was over priced for what you got , my sons ordered surf and turf steak medium it was rare and scampi missing , hunters chicken was a piece of chicken wrapped in bacon no sauce extremely dry ! And the service well ….. the young lady in charge of food had a shocking attitude rude , unprofessional very poor for front of house staff .
Lovely pub atmosphere; well trained and friendly staff, always accommodating & helpful with any menu questions & recommendations. Manager seems friendly and supportive of staff. As a whole the place appeared clean & tidy, well kept in a general sense - Toilets included (as well as disabled access/baby changing facilities). Food is good value & quality.
A Marstons pub. I went here for a Sunday lunch with my Mother and it was relatively quiet. To be honest I was surprised as there is nothing to not like about this place. Open and spacious inside with plenty of seating, in addition there is also outdoor seating. Huge car park to the rear, good disabled access. Nice and clean, friendly staff, 15 minute from order to service. Not fancy food but great value at the price, if you want the English pub grub staples. Family friendly with a children's play area, kids meals and smaller portions for the Elderly. Would go back. There is a small dance floor and a sound system set up so there may be evening events.
