Our whole experience was amazing! Staff were fabulous and had a great sense of humour! ( which was appreciate by our large party) Food was very good, we were a party of 17 , all was delivered to the table in a timely way. The whole party was happy with everything
Fantastic views, excellent food, and service. We ate from the lunch menu, which was priced at £18.50 for 2 courses, and £22.50 for 3 courses. Starting with pan-fried chilliprawns that were very well spiced and rich with a bit of a kick, the sauce was amazing. My wife had the Carrot and Coriander Soup, which again was very tasty (not bland). Main course for me as the steak sandwich, the steak was tender and juicy bur cooked, no need for a knife and fork, the beef sauce was amazing. My wife had the Gammon and Chip that she liked. Dessert was ice cream and cookie, and Apple and Damson Crubble were very good. If driving better to come via Teignmouth, it's a much easier drive.
I’ve been going to Combe cellars for the past 24 years and it has a special place in my heart! The most beautiful location, so well decorated this Xmas with a beautiful, warm atmosphere. We had their festive menu it was all delicious, 3 courses for £31, it’s definitely on the higher end price wise but for the setting and food quality it’s worth it. Service here over the years has been hit and miss, however our server Alex last night was super attentive and charming! A couple of other servers were a little slow (had to ask multiple times for more tap water etc) but overall everyone was lovely!
Wow... honestly one of the best places to visit in South Devon ... romantic setting... really makes you appreciate the place we come from ...food is too die for... Beautifully fresh...service top rated .. and lovely wine and beer selections .. toliets are always immaculate and very cute ...the whole place has a very unique and rustic but classy vibe ... beautiful estuary views ...lovely watching the sunset 😍
A great location on the River and Nice pub decor. Fast service and fast food- nothing special. Felt like a factory conveyor belt, fast turn over. Small over cooked portions of food. Not good value for money. OK for a nice view and drinks on a sunny day.
