Nice drink in the beer garden on good Friday. Grandson loved running round with the other children there.
We live half an hour away from the pub and we treat it like our local as we go there so much and the staff are so friendly. Always feel welcomed and they recognise us everytime we go in. Looking forward to the quiz night at the end of the month😆
What can I say to describe this pub… other than utterly appalling! I brought my son in to celebrate his 18th birthday with a drink to be met with the most rude and lazy staff I have met! When asking for a drink they refused to serve him even after showing his ID, to then close the pub early and laugh at me when I asked if they could book a taxi for me. They closed the pub an hour early and laughed in our face when we were told to wait for the taxi in the cold! Utterly disappointed and will not visit again!!!
So welcoming and a lovely beer garden safe for children and with some covered areas. We stopped off on a bike ride one sunny Sunday and arrived 20 minutes before it opened but the staff member said he would be happy to serve us early. We have returned several times since and enjoyed a drink and pizza from the food truck.
I don't think that the photos do this pub justice. We arrived 20 minutes before opening.on a Sunday, but we were told "don't worry, take a seat and I'll grab you all a drink once everything is switched on". The barman was back with us in no time, fetching us drinks to our outside table. The outside area was a great place to be, well sheltered and comfortable. There were even a number of sofas. The beer was clearly not kept for too long and well stored. The clientele were all really friendly and chatted with us. We will definitely be back.
