We offer great value for money, serving good home-cooked food 7 days a week, serving both restaurant food and bar snacks, with an affordable children's menu and a good range of vegetarian meals (prepared using separate equipment). We also cater for the bigger appetite with good-sized meals and an excellent Sunday Carvery offering a choice of Beef, Lamb, Pork & Turkey, cooked in the traditional way, with a Vegetarian Roast option, booking is essential.
Came here for a Sunday roast on a wet windy day after this place had been recommended by locals. What a lovely location. The food was so tasty, so well made and you had the option to go up and get more if you could fit more food in! The service was impeccable, and the prices were also very decent too. I would definitely recommend.
Had a lovely carvery today and we ordered a 2 coarse option so we had pudding and I regretted it as I was so stuffed from carvery lol meat was perfectly cooked and roasties were sooooo good
Had lunch here today whilst visiting friends in Kent. Ample parking, dog friendly and great, reasonably priced menu. Barry and I had the Ham, off the bone, two eggs and chips, cooked to perfection, Maureen had scampi, chips and salad and Nick an enormous burger. Maureen and I had a large Chardonnay, Barry a pint of lager and Nick a coke. Bill under £80 for all of us🤗. No room for a pud.
Party of nine a few days ago on the spur of the moment, made a quick call to check, "No problem they said". Food was very good, large portions and good value. Staff were excellent, very welcoming and attentive. Good old fashioned pub, told that the weekend carvery is a must, and very popular, so would give them a call for reservations.
A nice pub in a lovely area. Very good prices, but average food however. Would go again howeve
