This has the backbone for a fabulous pub. It's really nice inside. We stayed for a late lunch and opted for pizza. Pizza was burmed on the underside and could have done with more topping. I had the bbq chicken. After half a pizza all I could taste was the burned base. As the pizza cooled it got more tough to eat. Would recommend this place for a drink though. They do coffee's & tea's too.
Great location. Nice simple food. I had a beautiful burger well presented. My friends had lovely fish and chips. The small version was a great option.

Had a great night here being served by our hostess, Leigh. She even arranged for our favourite music to be played in the bar and turned on the train! Excellent!
Disappointing lunch. Food quality here is not good and the service isn’t great either. We ordered 2 meals but they didn’t get delivered together, when the second meal did come it was not hot and everything on the plate was soggy. The chips were also cold probably because they were walked round from the chip shop at the back. I would not recommend eating here. Very disappointing and way below average for food and service.
