Beautiful hotel although it lacks a bit of authenticity. The rooms are beautiful and the view is breathtaking. The restaurant is a bit pricey but the food was good. PS : I don't have anything against country music but... it's a lot.
Ate here on 23rd November when passing through. So pleased we stopped. I had a fantastic lunch here, much better than I was expecting given the location. My wife really enjoyed her food too. The place is beautifully done out and a great location if you are passing through, beautiful scenery all around.
AMAZING experience!! Super quaint, newly built in that has exceptional food, both traditional Scottish and Indian. We weren't expecting the food to be so good, but it has been a highlight of our entire trip and we ended up going back a second time the following night. Excellent included breakfast with the stay as well!
Stopped by here for lunch today. We were seated quickly and waited on. I got the rosemary chicken with peppercorn sauce and it was very good. I really enjoyed it. My husband got the fish and chips & enjoyed it as well. I do think it was a bit expensive but it had really great views!
What a lovely find. We were looking for a dog friendly place to stay last minute and found this gem. Lovely rustic decor with attention to detail both inside and out. Room was spacious with wooden floor and enough space to put down a dog crate. A small enclosed courtyard with lovely flower beds where the dog could go for a quick wee. A fenced in paddock for the dogs to be off lead out the side (as the road is close by), although a small dog could slip underneath the fence. Can also walk around building or across the road right into the wilderness. There were deer!!! Breakfast was outstanding, everything fresh and high quality. We were even allowed to bring dog to the breakfast room (even though we decided not to). Staff was very helpful and friendly. Will come again. Also, place looks lovely in the dark with fairy lights going round and they have a restaurant/bar both inside and across the road!
