A lovely afternoon celebrating birthday with my family . Some of us had food which was gorgeous! Sunday roast with beef was just perfect I would recommend anyone to try it . All service was fab, both from the bar and the food . Lovely atmosphere too - so much so that a couple of hours as planned turned into the rest of the evening ! We will be back !! Thanks Church Inn !

We hadn’t been to our local pub for a long time as the quality, cooking, atmosphere had gone down. BUT! - we heard that it had greatly improved and after 2 recent visits we can confirm that this is so. We had the lunch menu and the steak sandwich is great - & with chips & a drink it’s a bargain buy. We also had starter beers - there’s a great selection of ales & lagers - all well-kept. The staff are so helpful & friendly and the pub is super- clean. Nice atmosphere & warm! Can’t fault it! We’ll be back there soon & have picked up the festive menu so we can book a pre-Christmas family meal. Thanks to all at the Church Inn.

What a difference. We ate there about 2 years ago on a Sunday afternoon but there was not a great choice of food left. We had heard good things about the new landlady and decided to give it a try. Straight away we could tell we had made the right choice. From the warm friendly welcome to the recently updated menu, the place felt just like a pub should. We ordered a Sunday roast which was really impressive when it arrived, a chicken and ham pie which was also lovely. Our kids ordered of the children's menu but the portions were ample and their plates were clean at the end. Even when my son decided he needed a little bit of extra lettuce to make his burger perfect , his request was greeted with a smile and the lettuce arrived. The food was piping hot and tasty. The price made my pocket happy too. P/s you can download the greeneking app to get further reductions and a free first drink each! We left very happy and will definitely be returning.
