The Centurion is a grade II listed public house in Twerton, Bath, England. It was built in 1965 and the outside features a large bronze Roman centurion. The building has a steel frame with pre-stressed concrete floors and a large window.
Big sports TV, pool tables, darts, great beer selection, food available, I picked up Crisps Artois here, the amazing landlord saved them for me! Recommended. Friendly and amazing pub in Bath - you can get the 5 bus from the centre which stops just outside. Amazing views from the huge windows out the front too.
Traditional pub in a grade 2 listed building! Unbelievable but it is true. A cool terrace, massive TV for sports. Two pool tables! Stunning views out of the huge windows at the front. Great prices. Large beer selection . Even food is served, pies and Mac n cheese! Absolutely love it here and I don't live that locally but I try to visit whenever I can! There's a bus stop very close to the pub with buses from the city centre and university
30 years+ since leaving Twerton and the only times I have visited the pub since was for a couple of wakes! Got to say my visit today was a treat!Friendly staff and a great atmosphere for an early Saturday evening (albeit a lot younger than me)Will definitely visit again.
Underrated. A rare surviving example of a post war pub. Pool table, outside terrace (when it's warm enough & you're allowed to go to pubs), views over the valley. A solid option if you're in the area & fancy a pint.
Great landlady and bar staff really friendly. Landlords alright too. Prices the same as any other pub locally so don't know what other reviews are moaning about. Much better than 1 star.
