Really lovely staff. Food very hot & tasty. But waited an hour for food :(. Groupon very good but only choice of red wine and voucher says any large wine. Nice meal but won't return. :(
Very impressed with the standard of food. I ordered the belly pork on the specials menu and it was packed with flavour and cooked perfectly.
First time visiting here. Service was quick staff were friendly. Went on a Sunday so had the Carvery. Portions were ample and allowed to have a variety of meats. Food was delicious and loved the home made gravy from stock. I'd advise to book ahead as it can get very busy.
Nice tasting lunch, unfortunately the heating in the dining area wasn't on, so I didn't stay for dessert and coffee.
Went for a lovely lunch with the family and have to say it's a lovely pub with friendly staff and the food was superb. Great variety of food, catering for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free. Lovely choice of puddings too with a great selection of ice-creams. Would highly recommend The Carpenters Arms, welcoming atmosphere and a lovely pub 👍
