Awesome little pub. A warm welcome, with all the local characters you'd expect to meet in a rural village pub!
We received a warm welcome when entering the pub for the first time. A friendly, traditional pub, we enjoyed our visit and returned to the Butcher's Arms a second time during our visit to the area. A lovely, and authentic, pub.
Walked in on a Saturday evening and was greeted with the words “ no food and no dogs” needless to say we were in there for 2,5 seconds. No surprise there was absolutely no one in there.
Great owner. Really nice real ale. Inviting locals worth a stop if you want to try some ales you won't get anywhere else.
Yeah good place. Grew up in the middle. Had about 6 different owners in 5 years. The owner is a bit of an idiot but the people that run the pub are nice. Nice food, good laugh when darts is on or a quiz. Worth trying.
