Street corner house just round the corner from Woolwich Arsenal railway station. The pub was given a facelift at the beginning of 2015 with 3 handpumps installed. There are three real ales available, usually nationally known brands. Despite historical signage to the contrary, food is not currently served. The single bar area is kept spotless with its wooden floor immaculately varnished and polished.
The Bull Tavern labels itself as an Irish pub and has an Irish flag to show it but don't expect a warm Irish welcome in here. The pint I had was good to be fair but there was no real atmosphere or character to the place.
A simple down to earth boozer close to the trains in Woolwich. Star of the show is the dog who had defluffed the cuddly toy, evidence still on the floor waiting for the crime scene boys to turn up. Dog is still happy. Lovely people and great service. A good old east end boozer.
Popped in for a drink or several after a long hard week with a couple of long time work buddies! 100% cannot fault anything! Service was great! 3 screens of sky sports! Good friendly atmosphere with a good range of drinks! Looking forward to the next early finish on a Friday as an excuse to come here for a drink 🍻
It's freezing and raining outside. I just went in to wait for my Uber for 5mn in the middle of the afternoon. Not even sitting. The waitress kicked me out because I wasn't gonna order a drink. Worst service I've ever seen. No wonder why they're almost empty.
Great place, very friendly, clean, good atmosphere. Nice little pub
