If you want a nice and relaxed dinner, this is the place. Food is great staff couldn't be better and prices are very reasonable. Will be back.
Speaking for myself the Duck roast was not as tender as I would have liked. Everyone else didn't have any complaints, the service was excellent. It was quite a 'cosy' atmosphere, the tables were quite close together and another group of diners were quite loud which did spoil our visit a little but can't really blame the publicans for that. Overall it was a nice visit considering we were just passing late afternoon and took a chance on the place.
Good beer choice. Great service. Friendly staff. Tasty food. Clean. Nice location. We had Lasagne with a lovely side salad. Tasty Sausage and Chips with a lovely side salad. Only thing for me was the chips, more like small roasted potatoes, chios should be of an almost even size and not so chunky for the best chips.
Lovely country pub . Had an amazing Adele tribute! Would definitely come again especially if Lisa Marie is performing again !
Stopped on the off-chance for lunch both food and service were very good. Lovely table in the garden. A delightful relaxed lunch. Will definitely return. Thank you
