Staff really lovely and helpful. As for the food sent a plate back, fried egg was burnt. My friends meal has a very long hair and the mash looked like baby food. Sent my burger back as burnt, cook did do another, but waited half an hour. So friends had to wait for me to finish. The only part was the land lady and staff was pleasant. This was before Xmas. This pub should be for builders and locals. I hope the breakfast are as they use to be.

Very average untrusting staff. No tabs when booked for lunch, pay up front or nothing. One room in the restaurant looks like a school classroom. Food was very average for the 21st century, no puddings on offer either. I am led to believe the pub is under new ownership or management, so maybe it will improve... I hope so, it's pretty dire at the moment.

Went out for Christmas lunch there with my family and everything about it was amazing! Super fast service, very friendly and lovely staff and incredible food! 100% worth it! Will definitely be going back for a Sunday carvery ! Thank you to everyone at the dog and partridge for making our Christmas so lovely!

I've not tried the food yet, so can't comment. The service is great, a welcoming smile, and a friendly approach. It's definitely a good atmosphere. Nice spacey pub, lovely fire (when lit)! I'll be back soon

This was the strangest resteraunt I've eaten In for a long time. It's basically a large open dining area in the middle of a shopping centre. You have a choice of multiple pre cooked meals which oddly you pay for in advance. Once selected ypu go to the relevant serving station a d collect / dish up from a buffet style arrangement your dinner. It really was basic food in a scholl dinner sytle enviro ment. The food was warm but not hot and although didn't look particularly appetising it tasted OK. If you need a quick budget meal with no frills then it's the place to go. If your looking for a classic French resteraunt then keep going.
