Lovely little pub! The owner or manager was so accommodating with our family especially for the dog and child. Food was delicious and homemade! Would 100% recommend to anyone and will be returning! Thank you!
Excellent pub! I always expected this would be a proper, old-school pub, with a blazing fire, a warm welcome and a relaxed, easygoing atmosphere. Having frequently passed by over the years, by car, bike and motorcycle, I was delighted when we stopped off today and had a tasty bowl of soup and a nosey around. There's lots of room, plenty of tables, good beers and tasty food available, including Sunday Roasts, which we'll be returning for soon.
We came here after a stay over just outside of Bala. Well worth the trip for a roast dinner. Everyone is catered for the veggie cottage pie and veg was amazing. Dog friendly, child friendly and the IPA was good. Open fire to thaw you out after a nice walk.
Excellent home cooked food at a gd price. Lovely proper pub with nice atmosphere. Always love coming here over the years to get my Welsh lamb fix.
Gem of a place. Fantastic hosts and friendly staff. Lovely setting. Pool, darts, games and books available. We went for the quiz night and it was excellent; interesting and varied (and highly original!) questions and format. Well recommended.
