Food was outstanding. We had the Sunday roast. The waitress could have been a little friendlier, I think we just snuck in before lunch service was ending, and she wasn't too happy. Beware, they add 12.5% service charge to your final bill. Apparently, it's on the menu, and you should let staff know that you want to opt out. It's a bit awkward if you don't see it until it's added on and then have to get it removed.

We had a lovely stay here but feel really sorry for the staff having to cover reception and the restaurant all on their own. Credit to them they did it all with fantastic service and did their absolute best but can tell they are stressed out especially in the morning having to deal with people checking out and running food in and out of the restaurant too. We stayed during an off peak time in January as well so can’t imagine what it’s like during the summer for them! However this didn’t take away from the good service and everything else about the hotel was brilliant- we’d definitely stay again.

Lovely Hotel with a classic interior. The bar next door is very cozy. Lovely and welcoming staff all around. Helped me in the morning to. Find another way of transport after my first bus didn't came. The surroundings of Broadford are astonishing. As whole of the Highlands are.

Staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. They were excited to share the history of the hotel and ideas of places to check out near Broadford. The room was perfect for the family! Shower got a bit stopped up but the tub was perfect for the trip. Couldn’t ask for a better location! It was our first stop and stay after flying into Inverness. 5/5 recommend and we will definitely be coming back!

We stayed at the Broadford hotel for two nights 1.5 weeks ago, and that was the worst experience we have had during our trip through Scotland. The room we got was located right above the outlet of the kitchen extraction fan which generated a lot of noise (you can listen to a short video I attached), even with closed windows. We have immediately requested another room, but we were told they are full and they can only offer another one for the second night. At this point we were assured that the fan will switch off around 10-11pm and will start again after 8am. It indeed switched off at 10pm, but started again at 6am waking both of us up... Besides the fan, the room "offered" a broken window blind, mould in a bathroom, massive amounts of dust in accessible spots and a big stain on the wall that looked like a result of a leak. The second room was much nicer and cleaner, but it also "offered" a view on a pile of garbage and a falling apart wooden shed. Additionally, the walls seemed to be made out of cardboard as we have heard every single word our nextdoor neighbours had spoken when moving out at 6am - this resulted in a second night of bad sleep. Service - was rather cold, and didn't offer much compensation but I also understand they may not have power to do so. Besides a room swap, we got a discount at the dinner. We were also promised (twice by different staff members) that our luggage would be transferred to the new room, but it ended up being at the reception and we had to carry it ourselves. The location of the hotel is very good, close to a local park, the sea, shops and restaurants. There is also plenty of parking space available.
