Was at a wedding here. I wasn't in the rooms so I can't comment on them. The surroundings were beautiful, service was excellent too. Food was delicious. My only down thing too many stairs although there is a lift I couldn't find it.
What a beautifully kept historical location. We visited at night but the landscape was stunning with lighting and we were still able to walk the property. Impeccably maintained with very attentive and kind staff. The food was superb, our party had Pork tenderloin, fish, beef and another fish entree. All four meals were well enjoyed and would be recommended.
The venue is nice but the staff are just plain lazy, I was at a wedding lately and after the meal we go down stairs to the beautiful bar they have which is absolutely lovely. But when I ordered my drink (Whitley Neil, Rhubard & Ginger) I was told I would have to wait till I went back upstairs to get that specific drink as the only one they had down stairs was the non alcohol version, so I didn’t have a drink for the best part of an hour as that’s all I drink and it put a dampener on my day, I do not recommend going to weddings there if that’s the attitude
Visited for a wedding so did not stay in a room, the hotel is beautiful and the surroundings are lovely, one downside is the complete lack of any parking other than a 5 min walk away. Not so great if the Scottish weather lives up to it's reputation. Otherwise loved it.
Enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch at this beautiful Hotel The building and the gardens are gorgeous and set right next to the river. The food was excellent, as was the service and it was very good value. If we didn't live 200 miles away we'd eat there every week!
