We had an enjoyable stay over new years. Nice and cosy place with comfortable rooms. The food was ok but not fab, and sadly they didn’t take cash, only for tips. Overall a good stay in a great location
We only went to the restaurant for a meal, so I can't comment on the rooms here. However the meal we had was excellent, with a wide range of choices on the menu. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The place was cosy and we enjoyed our meal there. I would recommend this place if you are passing.
Great place to stop off even if your just passing through. Good beers on tap and owner is friendly to chat to. There is a restaurant as well with plenty seating. Recommended! There's also a river walk at the back of the hotel if your so inclined.
Received a very warm welcome from Struan (hope I spelt that right). He made us and our dog feel very welcome, as did Gareth. Room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and quiet. Great games Room and lovely beer garden. Good riverside/wooded walk right by the hotel. Highly recomend.
Beautiful location and views; really lovely, clean, practical and well thoughout bedrooms. Food was delicious and fresh, and the lounge for staying guests was comfortable and spacious. The staff were thoughtful and obliging, and the manager is most definitely the star of the show. He's not only has the most fabulous dry humour, he is also a mine of information. He puts tourist information to shame. Loved our two night stay, and will most certainly be back again. Only niggle is, its a cash free establishment.
