I’m originally from Surrey, however have been living in Manchester for the last 9 years. Loving music and performance since a young age, I studied it throughout my education and continued to learn as I worked with a professional composer in London for 2 years. Once moving to Manchester and graduating with a 1st in advertising and brand management at university, I began my own business as B.D Presents to facilitate creating events for others, as well as my own performance and songwriting. I have a passion for developing spaces for artists and venues to support each other, whilst giving opportunities to network with each other too.
Open Mic Events- I have been creating events across Manchester since 2021. As we came out of Covid restrictions, I began to build a brand that could provide venues with nights of live entertainment from grassroots local artists reliably. This draws individuals into spaces that are excited to welcome a plethora of talent that’s always changing; plus venues broaden their clientele. I’m very lucky that regulars have become loyal to my events across multiple venues, and the ethos I stand by to keep the nights fair, enjoyable and offer a platform to all.
My fee includes the hours on the night of entertainment -MCing, performing, taking videos and photos of acts, use of my equipment and work as a sound technician, and then before/following event content creation, social media promotion, sourcing acts, and general event/performer organisation.
Solo Performer- I have been singing and playing guitar, bass and drums since childhood. Performing on large stages through a music specialist school and onwards. I continue to take bookings for acoustic guitar covers gigs (including originals if wanted) and play different genres from singer/songwriters, r&b to pop and rock anthems. My fee varies depending on the length of the gig and location etc. If this is something you would like to discuss further, feel free to get in contact!
Sound Technician-I regularly manage, set up and advise for sound on live stages in different sized venues, and for different styles of musicians/events. I have some equipment I can supply, or willing to work with a venues supplied equipment too. If you are requiring a sound technician, please give further details and would love to work with you to create the best sound for your space.
