Good old type of pub where you can go in and have a nice drink and chat with friends
This is a hidden gem. I play there as a DJ, and it is a lovely little pub with even lovelier guests and staff. The team led by John are kind and highly efficient. It's one of my favourite venues. The atmosphere here is like sitting in front of a blazing wood fire; warm and inviting. Highly recommended.
Great pub, staff friendly & people in there friendly! Was in seeing an afternoon artist who was on, everyone in good spirits either having a dance or singing along!! Ale & spirits reasonable prices! Was a good friday afternoon, would go again!
Excellent local pub, run by the magnificent Ste and his partner. Made to feel welcome, great selection of beers and drinks and all reasonably priced.
Welcome to possibly the worst part in St Helens and this is saying something. The place is so tired and dirty, it would be better to close and give up. Saturday night at 1m and only 10 people in the pub and Christmas, this says a lot. One positive beer reasonably priced. But if the lines are as clean as the toilets I was putting my life in my hands by drinking there.
