Bit of an odd experience as we went at midday on a Tuesday, it was very quiet, maybe two other couples. It took a while for anyone to welcome us and offer us a drink. Then we were left waiting before being shown to our game. A good explanation of the game was provided and we had fun. We didn't have any food, just drinks, which we had to ask for a glass and ice for our bottles of cider
Went to this place a couple of times with a few of my friends - they were all very impressed! The food is great thanks to Jacob and his crew, and Sarah on the floor is always convincing in buying more shots 🤣. The drink choices are great and the bar team are always friendly, will definitely be coming again regularly!
After a slightly disappointing start as we were forgotten about, the manager took it in her stride and was very apologetic. Mistakes happen we get it! They couldn’t have done more to change our experience to be positive. After bringing it to staff attention we weren’t waiting long to get our swing on! Bar staff were attentive and friendly. Food was average nothing stood out but was yummy nonetheless. Quick service and reasonable prices. The real star of our visit was Brendan, he was polite and fully of personality. It was our first time axe throwing and he took his time to answer and questions and no matter how many times we asked something he took the time to explain it. As somebody with autism it really was refreshing to be asked by him if it was okay for him to touch my arm to show me what me meant when explaining how to grip the axe. It really was such a simple thing that made us so comfortable and relaxed. If it wasn’t for him and his attention to detail we wouldn’t consider coming back for the escape room. I really hope he is recognised for his great work.
Stumbled upon this place while shopping at Lakeside. Axe throwing experience was truly fun. Fran went out of her way to make sure we had fun and also let us try some of the other games. Honestly, the service was amazing, experience memorable and am definitely coming back again. Good music selection, drinks were nice too. Thanks a lot to Fran for making sure we enjoyed every minute spent here.
