mini golf was such a disappointment. 3/9 holes were broken and a 4th just about working, the whole course needs to be updated. No prior warning before about course issues. Staff don’t seem bothered to help, we had to find our own balls and clubs from behind the desk! Such a shame.
Such a poor state, and no surprise it was so empty on a Saturday night. Mini golf was in such poor condition- 3 out of nine hole out of order and not working. Toilets were dirty, unhygienic, and in poor state of repair Totally needs a new makeover, those guys really have to do better
Booked to go here for my birthday, there was a group of 4 of us. Booked 4 activities the first one axe throwing to start at 12. Got there just before to find that the building was not yet open. A member of staff (Trev) who was also waiting outside informed us the person opening was running late and would be there in around 5 minutes. 20 minutes later still waiting outside as was 2 other groups that had booked and now 2 staff member. AJ (staff member 2) apologies and says they can offer us a free drink and food once inside. After another 10-15 minutes the staff member opening finally turns up. Does not say anything to us or the other customers waiting just unlocks the door and walks inside. We start the first activity with Trev axe throwing which was great, we move on to the next 2. Mini golf 2-3 holes were broken and felt like they had squeezed them into the area rather then thinking of making them good and fun to take part in. Shuffleboarding was lots of fun and again Trev explained the roles to us. We were supposed to be playing pool at the end however notice the pool tables were already taken. So decided to get some food while during our 3rd activity so once we finished we could play pool straight away. Only half the food order was brought out so we had to ask for the rest of the food as the person in the kitchen "didn't read the ticket properly". Once the rest of the food came out be had to request again the 4th dip that we had payed for and he tried to say we hadn't paid for it when we had. The food wasn't was plain and underwhelming as the chicken strips were not seasoned how selected (there are options when ordering them) When we was finished both pool tables were still being used by new groups and we was running out of time as we had other arrangement for my birthday. We spoke to AJ and told him about our experience. He asked the guy who was late how to refund as we had prepaid online. The guy said if they had my email he could do it later that day. When speaking to AJ about the staff member that was late and cooking in the kitchen (same person) turns out that guy is the supervisor. Not a great experience or customer service from the supervisor however AJ and Trev were very friendly polite and helpful. Did not receive an email about my refund, called 2 days later and they tried to argue the refund although on the day told me it was fine. The lady on the phone said she would issue it anyways and yet it's been 5 days since that phone call and still no refund received or any email about the refund. Overall very disappointed and yet again will have to chase for a refund which in the supervisor wasn't late, we wouldn't of had to ask for in the first place. Also overheard he was late due to sleeping in as was out the night before. Which clearly showed on his mood.
Service staff could not have been more helpful..... value for money, very worthwhile... I definitely recommend it.
Visited yesterday for the boys birthday. Had a great time. We'd booked the American pool and ping pong. We had plenty of time playing both. Plenty of other games/activities to choose including, glow in the dark darts, crazy golf, axe throwing (subject to age and state of drunkeness) and shuffle board. Good range of drinks. Small menu of snacking dishes. Toilets were clean, which is always a bonus. Great for children and adults alike.
