Really good atmosphere and clean setting, however, I personally find the menu and food very average and limited. I have visited twice now, the first time the halloumi in the halloumi wrap didn’t state it wasn’t grilled, which I then couldn’t eat raw, (pregnant). And today, where I was disappointed to find the nachos came covered in chilli flakes, which wasn’t specified in the menu at all and even after asking for ‘no jalapeños’, you would think the customer would clearly not like any heat. I also had the ‘chocolate orange’ sponge cake, which I’m really sorry to say was dreadful and so dry it fell apart like concrete cake when cut. The staff still seem to be learning but are very nice though :)
Our first visit to the Bod. Although we didn't eat, we were very impressed with the unit and the atmosphere. Beer was great, and the service was fantastic. Big shout out for Charlie. Fabulous service with a smile 👍
The best selection of beers, ales, and stouts with some great food options and all the usual cafe features. It's best described as the love child of Costa and a tap room. It's definitely something the world has been missing! The cherry and plumb porters are exceptional beers!
