Great place to have Christmas meals. Portion size is big but the taste is also good so can give it a try. I tried Fish cake, butter garlic prawns, parmo and chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Fish cake is my favourite. Nice ambience and good service.
The best place in Durham for bottomless brunch. Cocktails were absolutely delicious, made well and presented well, the food was amazing (I had a parmo) and the lad who served us literally couldn't do anything more for us, he was fantastic. Will definitely be returning soon for a meal with the family.
Bit of a mixed bag really. Food was good as always however 1 of the sides was clearly rushed and was not up to our satisfaction so was removed from the bill, it also arrived 15mins in to the meal. Staff were friendly and attentive. Service was a bit slow at times and it wasn't really that busy when we arrived. Possibly just an off day. Deserts and starters no complaints 👌
Lovely place in Durham. Here visiting on a works trip and popped in here for an evening meal. Sat on the roof terrace overlooking the river it was beautiful. The food was incredible and the service was top notch. A definite visit if in Durham the food, cocktails and atmosphere here were all fantastic.
Very nice setting by the river and very nice food. The restaurant is nicely decorated and if you get lucky and have a window table, it adds to the experience. Staff are welcoming friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our steaks. Would definitely go again next visit to Durham.
