Our Smokehouse Classics, St Louis cut Ribs, Brisket and Boston Butt (pulled pork) are cooked low and slow in our BIG American imported smokers.
In our quest to deliver an authentic American BBQ, we have encountered the same challenge that all BBQ shacks had in the old days. “When it’s gone, it’s gone.”
If you are coming with a group, we highly recommend that you call us to book a table, although booking policy depends on the location and the day of the week. We do our best to ensure that walk-ins always get served, but sometimes guests need to chill at the bar until a table becomes available.

An American experience in the UK. We ordered Giant Onion rings, Blue's burger, Classic Hotdog and a Portland Hotdog which was the vegan option. All the dishes were very good especially the Giant Onion rings and the sauces that came with. The Portland Hotdog was quite spicy which I really enjoyed. The fries portion that came with the hotdogs was quite big which could be smaller or made optional. The Ginger Beer drink too was very good with a strong ginger flavour. We spent £81 for 3. Overall a great lunch 🙂
First time I eaten in here omg it was disgusting. Dirty tables and and burnt food. I wanted a salad with my meal, It was terrible. Not surprised it was empty. I ask the waitress May to see if we cold speck to the chef . But the chef couldn't be bothered to speck to us unprofessional. I been to a Blues smokehouse before. And they been good. Being a Head Chef Manager. I wouldn't feed that food to my dog.
Having been to blues multiple times over the years the food never disappoints but I do have to say it's a little disappointing that the build your own has gone off the menu being able to pick your own meats was the best thing about blues we normally visit Bracknell but being as Newbury is slightly closer we choose to visit there. I also understand that all the meat is smoked at Bracknell and transported over to the Newbury site. We were in a large group (£350 spend) in the latest visit and the team we great, food was quick to come out and all at the same time. Another thing I'd like to pick up an is the popcorn it was a great touch and hasn't been available the last few times we have visited. These things aside great food and definitely recommend a visit.
We had an early dinner and the location at the back near the riverside was perfect looking out with the swans there; great chilled atmosphere with the nice weather during the summer. Staff are friendly and efficient. The burger and hot dogs are tasty; the chilly sauce has a nice kick, slaws are good too. The fries were a bit too deep fried and were extra greasy (not really a fan). The drinks are okay, though overall price ratio was about right given the current state of the economy. They also take NHS discount, which is good to see. Overall pleasant experience.
Very friendly staff, and the lady serving at the bar was a great laugh. They did need more staff though as trying to serve our large table took a while which meant we ordered food much later than we wanted too. But the food was great and we all had a good time and would happily return
