The Blue Bell Werrington is a great little pub, our little pub, with great staff, fab food, super drinks, and the nicest customers ever!
1890s pale blue painted brick-built pub on the village green with a light, airy front bar and a comfortable lounge restaurant providing meals from an extensive home-cooked menu. Possibly the best Elgood's beer in the city. Interesting guest ales from a restricted list. Heated smoking area. Regular live entertainment. Darts, pool and cribbage played. Quiz on Sundays. Some parts of the pub date back to an earlier time.
First time in here drinking, bar staff really friendly & helpful with fast & efficient service. A great choice of real ales & ciders.
We had our works Christmas meal here & it was fabulous. Food was so good & the service was excellent. We will definitely all be returning. Thank you Blue Bell Inn.
Nice tody well presented pub. Price for food and drink very good for this business . Staff very friendly entertaining, welcoming and Very bouncy credit to landlord. Kids got bored quick. Don't know if any like colouring packs or something to help next time ?. All loved helicopter in the garden and the sit down pod areas. Light music would be good in gardens in background (small speakers) ? Just an idea An issue with toilet but staff 100% to help out. Thank you.
Pub looked beautiful inside and out. Staff were friendly .menu looked fantastic. Unfortunately , 3 meals took 45 minutes to come out and when it did arrive it was bland and tasteless. Two of us had chicken breast with salad and a few potatoes. One had a beef and ale pie. At £ 14 a dish, this was sadly not worth the money.
What a lovely pub. Fabulous meals. I had fish and chips, superb. The fish was massive! Home made chips which were exceptional. The young lady who served us was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her.
