The only great thing about this place was Karena Hadgnska. She went out of her way to give us a lift to the cruise ship terminal when our taxi didn't show up. Electricity in the entrance hallway at night was nonexistent so going into the place was a safety issue during our stay as we couldn't see where we were going and no one greeted us upon arrival since we had no data on our phone to check messages. So our first night was very stressful.

It's a really nice place, very clean and tidy, but the smell of cannabis from outside on the bench was there for all 2 days ,every day we was there

I don't recommend this place. Don't be fooled by the old reviews on this site, or the hotel web pages! It is advertised as a hotel, bar and a restaurant, but it is closer to a self service hostel without a reception. Unfortunately we stayed in this place a month ago and had a subpar experience. You check-in online via a form and get the keys from a lockbox. The place is rundown, there is no restaurant in the premises any more, no breakfast, any services, nor staff. Common areas had dirty footprints from some shady looking maintenance crew that was occupying most of the parking lot when we arrived. Most of the common areas I assume were lounge or restaurant previously were locked down. The room we stayed in reeked of strong cleaning chemicals and were bare. They advertise "Free private parking on-site", however, upon asking for a permit that was required by signs, they never brought one and instead said we would be allowed to park there. Next morning we received a £60 parking notice. When confronting the company via phone, they said "a manager" will take care of it, not to worry. After multiple days and calls later I never received a written confirmation the issue had been taken care of nor was their "manager" ever available to discuss the topic. After the appeals with the parking management company failed, I had to pay the notice myself.

Overall was fine, the bathroom was quite cold even with the towel rail on, the room didn't have hand towels available so I had to use the bath towels for simple things like handwashing, the toilet pan was always making a dripping noise, the panels of the shower were very aged. There isn't a TV available either. I believe they are just under new ownership so these may be temporary issues. Bar and Restaurant is not there from what I saw. Friendly staff.

Booked by friends I was pleasantly surprised with this boutique style hotel. Great rooms, very friendly staff. We had extra guests to supper and we were all very impressed with the food and the service offered pre cruise. Luggage store. Car parking for the duration. The breakfast was so good we phoned from the ship and went back to the Blue Keys instead of a doing battle on the liner. I would recommend this as a very painless way to start a holiday.
