After closing in June 2019, the (then) Blue Bell Inn overwent a huge 18-month renovation which also included a change in name and installation of a brand new 2.5BBL microbrewery! Details of the renovation can be found here!.
This is an excellent place in a quintessential English village. The accommodation was superb even supplying toothbrushes and a razor should you have forgotten them. The bar had a great range of local craft ales and even it's own micro brewery. The full English breakfast was of top quality ingredients and very substantial, you won't need to eat much else until evening. Definitely somewhere I'd stay again if I'm in the area.
Beautiful little find - food was amazing and we were made to feel very welcome with our dog too! Bar snacks only in the bar but they were great! Not stayed so cannot review the rooms. But having enquired they don't have a dog friendly room. Also worth noting you can only eat in the bar area with your 4 legged friend.... not the main restaurant.
Great pub with wonderful food. We’ve been a few times for food & drinks and always had a great experience. The steak & Stilton pie with bone marrow mash today was superb! Highly recommend
Part of a group night out, we had a really good meal, food cooked perfectly and well presented, not one complaint, other than the lemon cheesecake was overly sweet. Certainly among the best restaurant food I've had and particularly at this price point. Service was amazing, drinks orders fulfilled quickly and all the food came out in good time, the staff were very friendly and appeared to genuinely enjoy their job. They also didn't put us under any pressure to leave. I've never been here before but will definitely be returning, highly recommend
What a wonderful venue! The food was great, the service was excellent and they go over and above on so many small details to make your stay memorable. Very impressive micro brewery set-up and a great range of beer. Highly recommend.
