Lovely stone built building, good old fashioned, family run public house. Tourist Board 3-4 stars. We have four en-suite bedrooms and one room with private full bathroom. Full English breakfast with fresh free range eggs included.
No one at the Blue Bell Inn to greet you at all. The bar is closed, and no one to give you continental breafast never mind a cooked breakfast at the extra cost, we were the only guests place like a ghost house a joke. No recommendation at all !!!!
Fantastic food, great staff and service, in a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
We have just moved into the village and found this lovely little gem the blue bell, on entering the bar area there was a lovely roaring fire, which was very welcome as it was a very cold evening, we were greated by Peter, he was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We were looking for somewhere to get takeaway food, Peter and his chef were very obliging, the menu is excellent and something on it for all tastes. While we waited for our food we had a drink, and it was a very good pint. We were introduced to some of the local people, who made us feel just as welcome as Peter and the chef did. We have to say the food was excellent, the presentation (eventhough it was in takeaway boxes) was very good, portion size top marks and definitely very good value. Would highly recommend a visit.
Just had a lovely meal, small but varied menu. Nice seating area and cosy bar. Staff are great. I would highly recommend.
Would like to thank the lovely staff they where amazing and also the food was lovely... Much better seating then other pubs in the village would definitely recommend if anyones visiting the area 👍 dog friendly too👌
