The food and the service at the Black Lion Inn is amazing! The portions sizes are very generous, and the homemade chips are the best! This old quaint pub is the perfect place for a delicious meal, especially next to the log burner on a winters day, so cosy! Would 100% recommend it. Thank you!
This little gem of a pub is amazing!!! It's only small but this adds to the character of the place! The owners Nigel and Dafydd are lovely and make you feel so welcome! And the best part is the food is sooo good and totally worth every penny! Cannot recommend this place enough! Go for a hike in the local area and then stop by the Black Lion for a well earned pint and some food! I recommend the mixed grill!
Arrived to a half empty pub due to rugby World Cup final, not the norm as usually really busy. That said the food and service was excellent as usual. Would highly recommend an evening meal here.
Must go! Food is utterly delicious! Went there for dinner during a road trip. On that day their oven was out of service so, most of their meat options were 86 but then… the most gorgeous and tasty Sunday Roast was served. If that is without oven… imagine with! Sorry, no pics because we were VERY hungry and forgot. 🤪
26.AUG.23 Service 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 Food 10/10 We had black lion burger, Cod and chip and coliflower wings. High recommended. Pub is full of charm and staff friendly and chatty.
